Cellar 13 Films logo

OUR MISSION

Our mission is simple- to make films that not only stir the imagination, but films that will wake your brain up and get you thinking. It doesn’t matter if we make a 5 minute film, a feature, or a series; we always want to keep spice in our art, and we want to take ALL of the film cliches out of our projects. One of our motto’s is, “together we will reach the world.” We aren’t here to bow down to the corporate puppet masters, we aren’t going to be told what “they” think society wants to see on the silver screen; we will put out films that tingle with thought provoking material.

CELLAR 13 FILMS

Together we will reach the world.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Foremost, Cellar 13 films© is a film company that thinks outside the box; normality doesn’t really exist here. Driving inside the lines is redundant and boring. We like to venture out and see what part of the artistic world hasn’t really been explored. We are the film company equivalent to Star Trek- we boldly go where no one has gone or is too afraid to go. We will be creating thought provoking films that cover several genres, and we will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions with every film that we make. But most of all, we will be creating unforgettable art, art that will be burned in your memory for the rest of your life. Our goal may not be for you to remember the entire film, but there will certainly be at least one part of a film that will follow you around like a remora fish.

At Cellar 13 Films© we are huge proponents of, “if you can dream it, it can become a reality.” We believe in art, we believe that everyone interprets art in their own way, and we hope that our interpretation will span the globe and create a buzz. That there is a new film company that has exploded on the scene and isn’t afraid to walk up to the edge of life and shout with all of our vigor and love for the independent film artistry. We are a company that isn’t afraid to push the boundaries, to tell the stories that people shy away from, and we aren’t afraid to take a project that seems impossible. As artists, we certainly know that we can’t please everyone. In fact, we know that there are people out there that you just can’t please.

Donovan Murphy

Donovan Murphy

Sound

Commercial Audio Production

Donovan Murphy got his start in production sound with a Talkboy Delux after watching the 1992 movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Just like in the movie, where young actor Macaulay Culkin used the handheld cassette recorder with built-in microphone and speaker, Donovan would search the house looking for sounds to record.

He approaches sound for video like recording an album for a band. He’s a musician, has a degree in Commercial Audio Production – Music and opened a recording studio. While capturing dialog is his main focus, he uses the same techniques used in the recording studio to not just capture but enhance the sound of what’s seen.

I am a professional full time actress and model. I have been acting and modeling on and off as a hobby since high school, but a couple of years ago, I decided to take the leap of faith and dive back into the world of acting and filming that I had always been so passionate about!

I got my start in Chicago where I landed the role of pregnant Maggie in the spoof, Not Another Zombie Movie, directed by the Emmy award winning cinemetographer and director Donte Williams. NAZM was also an official selection at the 2015 Englewood International Film Festival. My recent work includes the leading female in the romantic comedy webseries Good Enough, and as a strong willed, kidnapped woman in the feature film Hunting Season starring Tom Sizemore, Eric Roberts, Clifton Powell and Miguel Nunez Jr. I've also worked on Hollywood blockbusters including San Andreas, the Divergent series, Captain America 3 and critically acclaimed Steve Jobs starring Michael Fassbender.

I am most excited about my new upcoming role on the new Netflix series Stranger Things which will premiere summer 2016.

I have also done music videos with pop star Megan Nicole, heavy rock band Papa Roach, electronic rock band Litchfield and more!

Carl O’Leary

Carl O’Leary

Actor

Paul

My name is Carl O’Leary. I am 38 years old, and an actor living in Citrus Heights, CA. I’ve been acting since high school, but not to the degree I am now. I’ve had some training in college and I’m always trying to learn new techniques. I love acting. It’s one of my favorite things to do in life. To portray another person’s life or live in some one else’s shoes is a truly unique experience. I enjoy entertaining the world or even my select few of viewers, because it makes me feel whole and I know it was what I’m meant to do. I wish to some day be a successfully paid actor in film and television. Maybe play the hero who saves the day and changes the world or the villain who does the exact opposite. In general I just love to play character roles. I love sci-fi, comedy, action, horror, fantasy, and martial arts films and would love to be involved in any one of those genres. I am also trying to develop a company for a YouTube project with several different sketches and short stories. I have a YouTube channel that anyone can subscribe to, so you can check out recent videos or watch some of my movie trailers. You just type my name (Carl O’Leary) in the search box and click my picture, then just watch whatever you want. Maybe one of theses days all be able to make my dreams come true, but for now I’ll be satisfied from just entertaining you.

Since that day Diane has worked with students of film, appeared in a few commercials and is now working with many independent film makers.

Her role as Grammy in A Ravens Cry, has most of the people on set afraid of her. But, in reality, she is kind and gentle with undertones of being very serious.
